Michael (Mike) Quinn has extensive experience in the field of chemical and biological defense. Michael (Mike) also served as the Deputy Director and Warfighter Integration Division Chief, where they managed a $390+ million annual portfolio of research projects for the Joint Chemical & Biological Defense Science and Technology Program.
Prior to their work at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Mike worked at the Pentagon, US Department of Defense, Office of the Secretary of Defense for Policy as a Senior Military Advisor for Domestic CBRN Response and Preparedness Policy. In this role, they served as a subject matter expert on CBRN response and force protection policy for the Department of Defense.
Mike's earlier experience includes serving as the Commander of the US Army Pueblo Chemical Depot, where they led and managed a staff of 400+ and oversaw all base operations. Michael (Mike) also served as the Chemical Branch Chief at the US Army Nuclear and Combating WMD Agency, providing expertise on WMD programs to various military and interagency organizations.
Furthermore, Mike served as the CBRN Chief at HQ Allied Rapid Reaction Corps, where they provided guidance and direction on CBRN operations and planning. Michael (Mike) worked closely with multinational staff and led various initiatives related to force protection and combat readiness.
