Walter Raes

Walter Raes has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Walter is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Arseus Medical, a leading distributor of medical and paramedical products in the Benelux region. Previously, they worked as the Owner of Mijnlamp Strategy & Implementation bv and as a Partner at Expense Reduction Analysts – EMEA, where they provided advisory and expert services in indirect spend and facility management.

Walter also served as the Managing Director Europe Zone2 / Regional VP at Lyreco France, where they were responsible for increasing sales and profitability in various European countries. Walter has held other managerial positions in different organizations, including Lyreco Scandinavia, Paperlinx Germany, ECF Chomette Favor, Papyrus/Stora Enso, Holding Editor International, and Actebis. Throughout their career, Walter has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on driving profit turnaround and implementing strategic initiatives.

Walter Raes has a diverse education history, with a focus on business administration, management, and digital transformation. In 1980, they graduated from KU Leuven with a degree in Commercial Engineering, specializing in Business/Managerial Economics. In 1998, they attended INSEAD and completed the Advanced Management Programme, further enhancing their knowledge in Business Administration and Management.
