Shade Smith

Shade Smith has extensive experience in auditing and financial management, currently serving as a Principal Internal Auditor at the Ministry of Finance Planning and Economic Development in Kampala, Uganda, since May 2009. Responsibilities include governance audits, performance audits, risk assessments, and supervising staff, along with the preparation of audit work plans and reports. Additionally, Shade Smith holds a position at Art & Craft since 2020. Educational qualifications include an ACCA professional qualification and CPA Professional Accountancy Qualification from the Management Accountancy and Training College, a master’s degree in management science with a focus on financial management from the Uganda Management Institute, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting from Makerere University.
