Jenn Smith

Jenn Smith is an experienced reference librarian currently serving at the Art Institute of Chicago since March 2022. Prior to this role, Jenn worked at the Appraisal Institute as a Specialist in Education Delivery Support and Administration from August 2021 to February 2022. Jenn's background includes a position as a Reference Librarian at DePaul University from June 2019 to February 2022 and a lecturer in Painting and Drawing at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago from August 2017 to December 2021. Additional experience includes a temporary role as a Reference Librarian at the Art Institute of Chicago in early 2019 and extensive work at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago from 2005 to 2015 as a Reference and Instruction Librarian. Jenn holds a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Master's in Library and Information Science from Dominican University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art from Illinois State University.
