Kim Nucci is a seasoned audio-visual technician and creative professional with extensive experience in technical direction, sound engineering, and fine arts. Currently serving as an Audio Visual Technician at the Art Institute of Chicago since December 2022, Kim oversees installation and maintenance of time-based media artworks. As Technical Director for the Driven Arts Collective since January 2019, responsibilities include managing production technology and creating media assets for performances. Kim has held various roles, such as Collections Technical Assistant and Audio Visual Technician at SFMOMA, Lead Sound Engineer at McEvoy Foundation for the Arts, and Studio Manager at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Kim also has an academic background as an Associate Professor at California Jazz Conservatory and has a strong foundation in music and visual arts education, holding multiple degrees from Mills College and Bennington College.
