Xabier Yurrebaso Asua

Xabier Yurrebaso Asua is a highly experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in both research and application development within various sectors, including industrial control, banking, and e-commerce. Currently serving as a Cyber Security Engineer at Arteche since November 2025, Xabier previously worked as a Cybersecurity Researcher at TECNALIA Research & Innovation, where significant contributions included vulnerability analysis, project management, and the implementation of security standards like IEC-62443. Prior roles included positions at IK4-IKERLAN focused on industrial security research, and several roles at Redsys España and Indra that emphasized cryptographic solutions and application security. Xabier holds degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from EHU and ETSI de Bilbao (UPV-EHU), complementing extensive technical expertise with practical experience in various security-related projects.
