Sokha Nhek

Sokha Nhek has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical and scientific field. Their most recent position is Director of Medical Affairs at Artera, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they served as Scientific Director and Senior Associate Scientific Director at Lockwood from 2020 to 2022. From 2018 to 2020, Sokha worked at Synapse as a Director and Associate Director. Before that, they were a Biomedical Writer at PHASE V COMMUNICATIONS, INC. from 2017 to 2018.

Sokha's earlier roles include Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow at NYU Langone Medical Center from 2014 to 2017, Scientist III at ImClone Systems from 2010 to 2014, and Postdoctoral Fellow and Graduate Student at Harvard Medical School from 2003 to 2010. They started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh from 1996 to 1999.

Sokha Nhek began their education in 1999 at the University of Pittsburgh, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Molecular Biology. They completed their undergraduate studies in 2003. Afterward, they attended Harvard University from 2003 to 2009, during which they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Experimental Pathology.
