Gabriel Sanchez

Gabriel Sanchez is a seasoned photo editor and educator, currently serving as a Photo Editor at The New York Times since August 2020, and as a Teacher for BFA Photography at Parsons School of Design since August 2021. Additionally, Gabriel is a Contributing Writer for Artforum International Magazine and has authored a photography book titled "In the Limelight," scheduled for release in October 2020. As the founder of Photo-Spark since February 2022, Gabriel continues to influence the photography landscape. Prior to these roles, Gabriel held a Senior Staff Writer position at BuzzFeed from October 2014 to August 2020 and contributed to the Aperture Foundation from February 2015 to December 2016. Gabriel holds a Master's degree in Photography from Parsons School of Design and a Bachelor's degree in Photography from St. Edward's University.
