Jennifer Teets

Contributing Writer at Artforum International Magazine

Jennifer Teets is a multifaceted professional in the fields of curation, writing, and education, currently serving as a Visiting Tutor and Curator for the "Offspring" 2024 exhibition at De Ateliers. Since August 2022, Teets has held the position of Mitchell Center Visiting Artist and Curator at Blaffer Art Museum, developing a group exhibition focused on cultural inheritance and intimacy. As an external international expert for Pro Helvetia, Teets participates in multiple juries and nominates candidates for various initiatives. With a wealth of experience as a contributing writer for Artforum International Magazine and Mousse Magazine & Publishing, Teets has been a Visiting Professor at prestigious institutions globally since 2007. Teets co-founded and directs The World in Which We Occur, a collaborative research-based entity, and served as editor for Archive Books Berlin. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree from Sciences Po and a double Bachelor's degree in Latin American Studies and Cultural Geography from The University of Texas at Austin.
