Sophie Kovel

Sophie Kovel is an accomplished editorial professional with extensive experience in the art and publishing sectors. Currently serving as Assistant Editor at BOMB Magazine since June 2019, Kovel also contributes as a writer for Artforum International Magazine, a role started in June 2018. Previous positions include curatorial internships at The Museum of Modern Art and Guggenheim Museum, as well as a research internship at Hauser & Wirth. Kovel's foundational experience includes leadership as Director of Operations and Engineering at WKCR-FM NY 89.9. Kovel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Visual Arts from Barnard College and has pursued additional studies at Parsons School of Design and Columbia University.
