Ashia L.

Ashia L. has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations. In 2013, they started their career as a Teacher at Atlanta Public Schools and held this role until 2015. After that, they joined the Children's Museum of Atlanta as an Education Project Lead, where they implemented community vocabulary programs and managed a large budget. In 2018, they transitioned to the role of Community Affairs Coordinator at the City of Atlanta, where they developed a curriculum for a recycling outreach program and managed community requests and program budgets. In 2019, they joined the American College of Rheumatology as a Program Coordinator, responsible for coordinating the annual meeting details and maintaining documentation. From 2021 to 2022, they served as a Project Manager at the American College of Rheumatology, managing logistical planning for educational meetings. Currently, they are the Director of Patient Education at the Arthritis Foundation, starting in 2023.

Ashia L. attended Georgia Southern University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology with a focus on Child and Family Development.
