Brenda Ganaway has extensive work experience in accounting and finance. Brenda is currently working as the Director of Accounting at the Arthritis Foundation since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Business Director of Finance at WorkSource Cobb/CobbWorks, Inc. from November 2021 to April 2023. Brenda also served as the Accounting Manager at Families First from September 2020 to November 2021 and at the Arthritis Foundation from September 2017 to July 2020. In addition, they worked as a Contractor - Accounts Receivable Specialist at Morehouse School of Medicine from March 2017 to September 2017. Brenda's previous roles include Practice Administrator at Decatur Pediatric Group Cobb P from September 2015 to June 2016, Fedeal Grant Compliance Manager at Points of Light from July 2013 to July 2014, Human Capital Manager at Hands On Atlanta from August 2011 to June 2012, and Assistant Controller from May 2008 to July 2011. Brenda also worked as the Fiscal Grant Compliance Manager at The Salvation Army from March 2006 to May 2008 and as the Comptroller (Intern CFO) at Milwaukee Health Services, Inc. from September 2003 to February 2005.

Brenda Ganaway earned their High School Diploma in 1979 from Oak Ridge High School. Brenda went on to attend Florida A&M University from 1979 to 1984, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. In 1996, they enrolled at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Business/Accounting in 1998.
