Vice President, Consumer Health And Ease Of Use at ARTHRITIS FOUNDATION INC

Deborah Gokie has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and industries. Deborah started their career at The Wichita Clinic in 1985 as the Director of Customer Relations. From 1994 to 1996, they worked at the Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery as the Museum Store Manager/Buyer, where they managed staff and volunteers and handled the purchasing of merchandise. Deborah then joined JDRF International in 1999, serving as the Executive Director in Lincoln, NE, and later as the Director of National Corporate Development, where they developed and implemented strategic plans and cultivated partnerships. In 2015, they transitioned to the Arthritis Foundation, initially holding the position of Senior Director of Corporate Relations. Deborah subsequently became the Vice President of Corporate Partnerships, overseeing the development of corporate relationships and managing the Ease of Use Program. Currently, Deborah holds the role of Vice President of Consumer Health and Ease of Use at the Arthritis Foundation, leading efforts to provide resources and support for patients.

Deborah Gokie (She/Her/Hers) began their education in 1981 at the University of Nebraska-Kearney, where they pursued a field of study in General Studies. Deborah attended this institution until 1983 without completing a specific degree. Then, in 2005, they enrolled at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, focusing their studies on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Their time at this institution lasted until 2006. In 2013, Deborah Gokie furthered their education at Yoga Body and Balance, where they obtained a degree as an Inner Power Yoga Instructor with a specialization in Hatha Certified Instruction. Their studies in this field were completed in 2014.
