David Birch

David Birch is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the insurance and broking sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director for SME & Partnerships at Gallagher since August 2010, David has held multiple leadership roles within the company, including Managing Director for Brand Partners in the UK Retail Division and Sales Director. Prior experience includes positions as Managing Director and Sales Director at Equity Direct Broking Ltd from 2005 to 2010, and key roles at Direct Line Group from 1997 to 2005, such as Head of Corporate Partnerships and Business Development Manager. David began a career in management as National Accounts Manager and Marketing Coordinator at Car Care Plan from 1990 to 1997. Educated at the University of Central Lancashire, David earned a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from 1986 to 1990.
