James Allen

James Allen, PhD (Organisational Psychology), has extensive work experience in the field. James is currently serving as the Director of People Experience and Innovation at Gallagher since November 2020. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as the Director and Head of Product Development & Innovation at Predikt-r, starting from April 2017.

Before Predikt-r, James also co-founded and worked as a Director at Effectus Consulting from February 2017 to November 2020. At Effectus, they specialized in organizational, leadership, and people strategies.

Earlier in their career, James worked as a Consulting Psychologist and Senior Consultant Psychologist at Davidson - Consulting & HR Solutions from June 2015 to November 2017. During this time, they provided expertise in enhancing workplace performance and aligning people and culture strategy with organizational strategy.

Prior to Davidson, James held roles at BHP Billiton and Powerlink Queensland, where they focused on organizational capability, development, and learning. James also worked as a Research & Development Consultant at the Franchise Relationships Institute and as a Change Management Consultant at the Department of Environment and Primary Industries.

James Allen, PhD (Organisational Psychology), completed their Bachelor of Psychological Science (Hons 1) at The University of Queensland from 1999 to 2002. James then pursued their PhD in Organisational Psychology at the same institution from 2003 to 2008. In addition to their academic achievements, James has obtained various certifications including Mental Health First Aider from Mental Health First Aid® Australia in 2023, Employee Experience Expert Certification from Qualtrics in 2019, Hogan Assessment Systems Certification in 2012, Team Management Profile from Team Management Systems - TMSOz.com in 2010, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from MRWED Training and Assessment in 2009, and Prosci - Change Management Certification Program from Prosci in 2005.
