John Helton

John Helton currently serves as Area Vice President and Employee Benefits Consultant at Gallagher, a position held since February 2024. Concurrently, John has been a Consultant at PartnersLife since August 2020. John previously worked as an Employee Benefits Consultant at 925 Partners Insurance Agency from October 2021 to February 2024 and as an Advisor at OneDigital Health and Benefits from December 2013 to August 2020. Earlier experience includes serving as a Chaplain for the Florida Department of Corrections, where John contributed to inmate rehabilitation and life skills training. John founded Refuge35, Inc., focusing on community outreach for marginalized groups. Additional roles include Assistant Church Administrator and Local Missions at First Baptist of Orlando, and Human Resources Administrator at First Baptist Church of Jacksonville. John holds an MBA from the University of North Florida and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Samford University.
