Shana Thomas

Shana Thomas, CPA, CFE, Juris Master, is a seasoned compliance and auditing professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and consulting industries. Currently serving as Senior Director of Compliance at Gallagher, Shana oversees the development and management of the company’s audit program, ensuring operational efficiency, reliable financial reporting, and legal compliance. Previous roles include Assistant Director of Compliance Monitoring/Auditing at Astellas Pharmaceuticals and Manager of Compliance Auditing and Monitoring at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities ranged from risk assessment to audit execution. Shana began a career in auditing with experience at PwC and KPMG, and holds a Master of Legal Studies from Cornell University, as well as degrees in Accounting and Finance from Rhodes University and the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
