Asif Hussain, PhD, has had a rich and diverse work experience in the fields of robotics, rehabilitation, and neurorehabilitation. Asif began their career as a Research Assistant at Imperial College London in 2009, where they focused on designing sensor-based technological solutions for neurorehabilitation of motor functions. Asif also provided administration and technical support for student projects and wrote scientific and technical reports. In 2014, Hussain joined Nanyang Technological University as a Research Fellow. During their time there, they investigated solutions for effective rehabilitation and assessment using robotics, assessed human strategies during skilled manipulation tasks, and collaborated with clinical and industry partners for commercialization. Since 2017, Hussain has been serving as the CEO of ArtiCares, although no specific information is provided about their role responsibilities in this position.
