Alex Hodges

Alex Hodges is a seasoned infrastructure engineer and co-founder with extensive experience in platform engineering and community building. Currently serving as a Staff Platform Engineer at Articulate since December 2022, Alex has significantly enhanced database backup systems and supports developer experience. As a co-founder of NomadSphere, Alex fosters an inclusive remote work community while managing moderation tools and infrastructure. Previous roles include Principal Infrastructure Engineer at ATM.com and Autodesk Construction Solutions, where Alex led initiatives and integrated observability tools to improve system reliability. Alex's consulting work encompasses supporting early-stage startups with infrastructure on AWS and GCP using Terraform. Alex holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems from Andrews University.
