Alex Kearney

Alex Kearney is a Co-Founder at Artificial.Agency since April 2023, previously serving as a Research Scientist at DeepMind from February 2022 to April 2023 and as a Research Scientist Intern at DeepMind in mid-2021. Alex has gained valuable experience through roles such as Software Engineering Intern at Twitter, and multiple research positions at the University of Alberta, where contributions included advancements in Temporal-difference Learning and reinforcement learning applications on robotic platforms. Educationally, Alex holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Alberta (2016-2023) and a Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science from The University of Edinburgh (2012-2016).
