Kaushik Roy

Kaushik Roy is a proficient Artificial Intelligence researcher with extensive experience across various esteemed institutions. Currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Artificial Intelligence Institute at the University of South Carolina since August 2020, Kaushik focuses on developing Neurosymbolic methods for advanced learning and reasoning with an emphasis on social good. Previous roles include positions at Bosch Center for Artificial Intelligence and Samsung Research America, where Kaushik worked on cognitive architectures and personalized dialogue systems, respectively. Kaushik's academic background comprises a PhD in Computer Science from the University of South Carolina and previous studies at The University of Texas at Dallas and Indiana University Bloomington. Additionally, Kaushik has contributed to several relevant publications throughout their career.
