Benjamin Kolz

Benjamin Kolz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Benjamin worked for Artificial Solutions from 2016 to the present, starting as a Knowledge Engineer and progressing to roles such as Conversational AI Developer and Consultant. In these roles, they specialized in Conversational AI Development, conducted technical interviews for recruitment, and led client and presales workshops. Benjamin also served as a Conversational AI Specialist & Community Lead, where they focused on best practices for Conversational AI Development and explored innovative ways to use Microsoft services with the Teneo platform. Prior to their time at Artificial Solutions, Benjamin worked as a Research Assistant at Universitat Pompeu Fabra from 2011 to 2016 and collaborated on projects as a Project Collaborator at LocTeam in 2012. Benjamin gained early work experience as an Intern at Fundacio Barcelona Media, Studio Moretto Group, and TERMCAT in various capacities.

Benjamin Kolz's education history begins in 2004 when they attended Ruhr University Bochum, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Spanish Philology. During this time, their field of study included linguistics, translation, and literature. Benjamin completed their undergraduate degree in 2008.

Afterward, Benjamin enrolled at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where they pursued a Master's degree in Translation Studies from 2008 to 2010. Throughout this period, they focused on specialized translations in legal and technical fields, as well as programming, statistics, and machine translation.

Benjamin continued their academic journey at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where they embarked on a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Computational Linguistics. Their doctoral studies spanned from 2011 to 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Benjamin Kolz also obtained several certifications. In 2019, they completed the "Learning GitHub" course offered by LinkedIn. Benjamin also obtained certifications in "SQL Essential Training," "NLP with Python for Machine Learning Essential Training," and "Learning the JavaScript Language," all from LinkedIn.

Furthermore, Benjamin holds the "Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals" certification from Microsoft, which they obtained in October 2022. Moreover, they completed the "Teneo Conversational AI Developer" certification program offered by Artificial Solutions in February 2022.
