Luis Sanchez Acera has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Luis began their career as an IT Specialist at IBM, where they analyzed and developed software applications for various industries, with a focus on financial services. As an Architect and Project Manager, they successfully completed projects during their tenure.

Later, Luis joined IBM Collaboration Solutions as a Technical Sales Engineer, providing exceptional support to sales teams and business partners in Spain, Portugal, Greece, and Israel. Luis played a crucial role in business development initiatives and was responsible for creating compelling proposals for clients.

As their career progressed, Luis took on different roles at IBM Espa\u00f1a, including Collaboration Solutions Architect and IBM Smarter Workforce Solutions Consultant Seller. In these positions, they worked closely with clients, helping them transform their HR functions and ensuring successful deployment of IBM's software solutions.

Luis also gained experience as an IBM Business Partners Representative for Cognitive Solutions. Here, they managed relationships with business partners in Spain, Portugal, Greece, and Israel, focusing on software sales for Collaboration Solutions and Watson Platform. Luis also contributed to business development efforts and recruited new partners.

In 2019, Luis moved to Kiuwan, where they served as a Sales Engineer, specializing in SAST and SCA. Their role involved assisting companies and development groups in integrating security practices into their DevOps programs, enabling them to achieve DevSecOps discipline in their development environments.

Following their time at Kiuwan, Luis joined BT as a Sales Specialist, where they leveraged BT's security services capabilities and leading technologies to help clients navigate the cybersecurity landscape with confidence. Luis worked with key vendors such as IBM, Fortinet, F5, ZScaler, Cisco, and Palo Alto to deliver the best security managed services, implementing standards like SD-WAN, SASE environments, and Zero Trust capabilities.

Most recently, Luis joined Artificial Solutions as a Sales Engineer, where they apply their expertise in driving successful sales opportunities for the organization.

Throughout their career, Luis has consistently demonstrated their ability to understand client needs, deliver tailored solutions, and build strong relationships.

Luis Sanchez Acera holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, which they obtained from 1992 to 2000. Prior to their university studies, they completed their Bachillerato from a school called Mostoles V from 1988 to 1992. In terms of certifications, Luis has recently obtained an EF SET English Certificate with a score of 79/100 (C2 Proficient) from the EF Standard English Test in February 2023.
