Morgan Janes is currently a VC Fellow at ARTIS Ventures and a PhD student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology program, concentrating on Biological Engineering. Research work includes contributions to the Mitragotri Laboratory for Drug Delivery at Harvard University. Previous experience includes serving as an undergraduate researcher in the Tissue Engineering and Biomaterials Lab at the University of Maryland, where significant advancements were made in decellularization protocols and the fabrication of hydrogel-based scaffolds. Other notable roles involve working on organ-on-a-chip models and conducting market research during internships at West Pharmaceutical Services and the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Morgan Janes earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Bioengineering from the University of Maryland and is expected to complete a PhD in Medical Engineering & Medical Physics at MIT.
