Kevin Thorn, Ed.D, CNH has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Kevin is currently serving as the Director of Development at Artisan E-Learning since February 2023. Prior to that, they were the Chief NuggetHead/Consultant/Trainer/Certified Facilitator in LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology at NuggetHead Studioz, LLC since April 2012.

Apart from their work in the e-learning industry, Kevin has also served in various roles in the community. Kevin has been a City Planning Commissioner at Hernando since January 2022 and a member of the Board of Directors for Parks & Recreation in Hernando, Mississippi since June 2022.

Kevin has also shared their knowledge and expertise as an Adjunct Instructor at The University of Memphis since October 2019. Earlier in their career, they worked at AutoZone, where they served as an LMS Admin/Learning Technologies from January 2003 to April 2012. Kevin was instrumental in implementing AutoZone's first Learning Management System and played a crucial role in developing the initial e-learning development process and team.

Kevin's professional journey began in the US Army, where they served as a Soldier from February 1983 to May 1998. Kevin held various roles during their tenure, starting as a gunner and eventually becoming a Squad Leader and Fire Direction Chief after attending the Infantry Mortar Platoon Officer Course (IMPOC) as a Staff Sergeant (SSG).

Kevin Thorn, Ed.D, CNH has an extensive education history. In 2003, they graduated from Christian Brothers University with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Management. Kevin then pursued higher education at The University of Memphis, where they obtained a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technologies from 2016 to 2018. Moving forward, Kevin Thorn recently completed their Doctor of Education - EdD from The University of Memphis in 2023, focusing on the fields of Educational Comics, Digital Storytelling, and Play. In addition to their degrees, they have also obtained several certifications. In 2017, Kevin Thorn became a LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Certified Facilitator through Rasmussen Consulting. Furthermore, they received a certificate in Comic Books and Graphic Novels from Coursera Verified Certificates in 2014.
