Derek de Petra

Derek de Petra has work experience in the financial sector, primarily in trading roles. Derek started their career at Mellon Capital Management as an International Trader in 1994 and worked there until 1997. Derek then joined Montgomery Asset Management as a Trader from 1997 to 1999. In 2000, de Petra became a Managing Director of International Trading at Artisan Partners.

Derek de Petra completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History at UCLA from 1988 to 1993. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance, General at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business from 1997 to 1999.
