Jim Hamman Jr.

Jim Hamman Jr. has a diverse work experience spanning several prestigious companies. Jim started their career as an Attorney at Vedder Price from 1993 to 1996. Jim then joined Kemper Financial as an Associate Counsel from 1996 to 1998. Jim continued to progress in their career, becoming the General Counsel at Calamos Investments from 1998 to 2007. In 2008, they founded their own company, Elite Investment Partners, where they served as Founder until 2010. Jim then joined Artisan Partners, taking on various roles such as Managing Director, Head of Corporate Development and Human Capital from 2014 to 2016, and Managing Director, Head of Global Distribution from 2016 to 2019. Most recently, they have been working as the Chief Operating Officer/Distribution at Artisan Partners since 2022.

Jim Hamman Jr. attended the University of Notre Dame from 1987 to 1991, where they studied Business Administration and Management. Following this, they enrolled at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law from 1992 to 1994, where they pursued a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
