Megan is a Bay Area native with a conviction to make her mark on Silicon Valley! She is powered by hard work, critical thinking, and a commitment to excellence. She is always finding new and exciting ways to challenge herself and the people around her. Following her passion for people and what makes them tick, Megan went to UCLA to study Anthropology. Despite being a diehard Northern Californian, she stayed in Los Angeles to teach at a top Montessori school catering to the Hollywood elite. Her ability to connect and win the trust of influential people is ultimately what led Megan to recruiting.
Her search career started at NeoHire, a small boutique recruiting firm in Los Angeles where she focused on hiring engineers for top LA tech companies like Headspace, Victorious and Tradesy. Knowing that her heart and the heart of tech innovation was always in San Francisco, it wasn’t long before she moved back to the Bay to be at the center of it all. In SF, Megan joined Ejento and was selected to launch an executive search practice for the company. It was there that she helped shape a team dedicated to providing a search experience that valued transparency, specialization, efficiency, and a high touch approach. At Ejento, she built a successful practice - hiring top-notch Engineering and Security leaders for high-growth startups such as Semmle, Exabeam, Mattermost and Emerge.
Now as Principal at Artisanal Talent, Megan joins Chris Johnson where she is hyper-focused on hiring Product leaders for category-leading companies.
