Sophie Kalt

Sophie Kalt is currently a GTM Associate at Artisanal Talent Group. Prior to this, they were a Recruiting Coordinator at Career Group from June 2021 to April 2022, where they authored descriptions for event albums to showcase the company's clients and expertise, and was responsible for uploading a total of 20 descriptions weekly. Sophie also integrated SEO strategies to increase consumer traffic on the website and article views.

Before that, they were an Americorps member at City Year Chicago from August 2020 to June 2021, where they served as a Student Success Coach, leading two English Language Arts classes (50 students in total) in a virtual school setting via Google classroom, and supporting a focus list of 12 students to increase reading levels and scores by using weekly curriculum-based coaching, goal setting, and consistent check-ins. Sophie also tailored student interventions weekly by leveraging quantitative data via Excel for specific students needed, increasing 4th grade on track data to 50%.

As Marketing Communication Coordinator at City Year Chicago, they collaborated with administrative staff to create and distribute a weekly newsletter detailing updates, tips for virtual teaching, and teacher shoutouts. Sophie also curated content regularly on Instagram showcasing the City Year members at a new school partnership, and interviewed City Year and Bradwell Staff, serving as a liaison to communicate information between the two.

Sophie Kalt graduated from the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts with a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies. Sophie also attended New Trier Township High School.
