Vidur Dewan

A native Northern Californian, Vidur has always been enamored with technology from a young age. He fell into executive search after realizing a role in banking wasn’t scratching his intellectual curiosity “itch”. Vidur was an early hire at Daversa Partners’ San Francisco office, building and scaling their engineering and product executive search practice. He cut his teeth working with some incredibly promising early to mid stage companies that went on to become industry marques: HashiCorp, UiPath, Roblox, Slack, Cloudflare, Sentry, ThousandEyes, ThoughtSpot, and Toast. There, Vidur developed a maniacally high-bar for talent and devotion to his clients on ensuring a close partnership.

Later, Vidur crossed paths with Andy Price, Chris Johnson, and Alex Zakupowsky, feeling strong alignment on the commitment to excellence and carving a path to do better than the status quo. He joined on the mission to continue to scale and build Artisanal’s brand and business within engineering and product executive search. Vidur brings a systems mindset to his search work, utilizing the highest impact levers to produce the best results for his clients—he’s firmly against “one-size-fits-all” and thrives on creating successful partnerships between executives and companies.

Vidur graduated from U.C. Davis with a B.S. in Managerial Economics. When he’s not working, he loves to dazzle his friends with his amateur chef skills and explore all the nooks and crannies of California. If there is a new or niche product, service, or subscription out there—it’s likely he uses or has tried it.
