Prior to that, Jon Lucca worked as a Hair and Makeup Artist and Creative Director for their own company, Jon Lucca Inc. Jon'swork took him internationally, with a focus on New York City and Paris. Jon worked editorially for prestigious publications such as Condé Nast, Hearst, and Hachette, specializing in lifestyle advertising, fashion, and beauty editorial. Additionally, they worked as a beauty writer for online makeup and beauty platforms. Jon'stenure at Jon Lucca Inc. spanned from 1980 to 2001.
