Al Heacox

Al Heacox has served as the Senior Vice President of Research & Development at CryoLife since January 2012, after having retired from the company on December 31, 2011, and relocating to Bluffton, SC. Prior to this role, Al Heacox held the position of Vice President of Laboratory Operations at CryoLife, Inc. from June 1985 to December 2004, overseeing areas such as manufacturing, tissue processing, facility management, security, and OSHA compliance. Al Heacox earned a Ph.D. in Zoology/Developmental Biology from Washington State University between 1974 and 1980.
