Carsten Brandt

Carsten Brandt has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Carsten is the Founder and Managing Director of PMsquare GmbH in Germany, where they oversee the overall management and strategy of the company. Carsten is also a Partner at PMsquare LLC in the US. Carsten founded and managed PMsquare Pte in Singapore and PMsquare INC in the Philippines, both of which were later acquired by Cornerstone Performance Management Pty Ltd. Additionally, Carsten founded and managed PMsquare Pty Ltd in Australia, which merged with Cornerstone Performance Management.

Alongside their work at PMsquare, Carsten has held other positions. Carsten currently works as a Lecturer for Business Planning at Hochschule Macromedia | Macromedia University of Applied Sciences. Carsten is also a Venture Partner at Companisto, where they provide expertise and support to startups. Carsten serves as the CFO & Partner at ARTMO, an international platform for artists, galleries, and universities. Carsten is an Accredited Business Angel at Business Angels Netzwerk Deutschland e.V.

Early in their career, Carsten worked as a Principal Consultant at InfoCube Consulting and as a Senior Consultant at Focus Strategies & Solutions. Carsten held various roles at Boehringer Ingelheim Pty Ltd in Australia, including Business Analyst and Management Trainee in the Department of Financial and Management Accounting. Carsten also gained experience as a Working Student at SerCon and as a Project Coordination Manager at berater e.V.

Carsten Brandt started their education in 1998 at the University of Applied Sciences Wiesbaden, where they obtained a Diploma in International Industrial Engineering in 2002. In addition to their formal education, Carsten has obtained various certifications from IBM, including certifications in IBM Planning Analytics V2.0.0 Administrator, Analyst, Cloud Administration, Dimensions and Cubes, General Administration, Local Administration, Modeler, Rules and Feeders, TurboIntegrator, IBM Planning Analytics Workspace V2.0.0 Explore Data, and IBM Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel V2.0.0 Analyze Data. Carsten also holds certifications in Data Science & Business Analytics Competency Sales Foundation and IBM Cognos Analytics & Watson Analytics Sales Professional v1 from IBM Professional Certification.
