Shanthi Chandrasekar

Shanthi Chandrasekar is a multimedia multidisciplinary artist with extensive experience in the arts sector. Currently serving as a Culture Caucus Member at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and as an Advisor to the Board at Artomatic, Shanthi has been a Visual Artist at Studio B since November 2016, creating works across various mediums, including drawing, painting, and sculpture. Additionally, Shanthi has taught traditional and folk art forms from India at the India School and offered private art classes for all ages focusing on creativity and imagination. Previous roles include Museum Guide at Glenstone Museum and Exhibits Coordinator at Takoma Park Community Center. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Color Theory from Montgomery College, a Master's degree in Psychology from Annamalai University, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Women's Christian College.
