David Dempsey

David Dempsey has worked in various roles across the media industry since 2011. David began their career as a Gallery Assistant at shopSCAD, where they worked sales on Fine Art, Jewelry, and Fashion, and managed social media platforms to increase brand awareness. David then became Assistant to Creative Ideation and Design, Assistant Gallery Manager, and Gallery Manager at shopSCAD, where they were responsible for hiring, training, and managing retail employees, and oversaw design and management of the e-commerce site. In 2012, they were an Ear Goo Intern at GOO MEDIA GROUP LLC, where they worked as A&R to recruit artists for their music licensing catalog. From 2016 to 2021, they were a Digital Content Producer at Red Velvet Partners, where they led concept to creation of client content through storytelling, ideation, and design strategies. Most recently, they have been a Content Producer at 50 Floor since 2021. Currently, they are the Director, Content Development & Media Services at Artrepreneur.

David Dempsey attended the Savannah College of Art and Design from 2009 to 2013, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sound Design and Music Composition.
