Troy Walsh

Troy Walsh has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries. Troy is currently working as the Executive Director - First Nations, Equity & Inclusion at Arts Centre Melbourne since November 2022. Prior to this, they held executive roles at Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (VACCHO) from 2021 to 2022, including roles as the Executive Director - Research, Health Information & Technology and Acting Executive Director - Health Information & Technology. Troy also served as the Chief of Staff in the CEO Office at VACCHO from 2021 to 2022.

Before joining VACCHO, Troy worked at Telstra for a significant period of time starting from 1992. Some of their notable roles at Telstra include Senior Technology Specialist, Automation Engagement Manager, Program Manager, and National Network Manager. Troy demonstrated expertise in technology, automation solutions, change management, and network management during their tenure at Telstra.

Troy Walsh has pursued a diverse education history. Troy obtained their Advanced Certificate of Telecommunications from Telstra Learning in 1996. In 2009, they completed a Diploma of Business from Carrick Institute of Education and also received the Indigenous Leadership Program certification from the Australian Government FaHSCIA, which they completed in 2020. Additionally, Troy has obtained multiple certifications in IT service management, including ITIL Foundation V3 from Dimension Data Learning Solutions - Global Certification Institute (ISEB) in 2011 and ITIL Foundation V2 from Excom Education in 2007. Troy has also completed various business-related programs, such as the Certificate in Executive Management and Development from AGSM @ UNSW Business School in 2018, as well as the Graduate Certificate in Management and the Emerging Indigenous Executive Leader Program from the Australian Institute of Business.
