Chris Smith

Chris Smith is an experienced arts professional with a background in front-of-house management and operations. Currently serving as the Associate Front of House Manager at Arts Club Theatre Company since November 2022, Chris previously held the position of Front Of House Manager at Goodman Theatre from October 2008 to September 2021, where responsibilities included designing and programming the marquee sign, and managing lighting and sound for the Education & Community Engagement Center. Earlier experience includes roles at Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. as House Manager and Concessions Manager at The Chicago Theatre, and as a tour guide at The Chicago Theatre, showcasing strong skills in customer service and event coordination. Additional experience includes ushering at Chicago Shakespeare Theater and serving as a theatre company member at The Astors Beechwood Mansion. Chris holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Musical Theatre from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
