Barbara Hall

Director at Artscape

Barbara Hall is the Director at Artscape. Barbara has over seven years of experience in arts administration and programming. Prior to their current role, Barbara was the Program Manager at UrbanArts, where they oversaw the development, delivery and management of community art programs, events, and special projects across the portfolio. Barbara has also worked as the Communications and Outreach Coordinator at Music Makes Us / The Coalition for Music Education / Music Monday, where they were responsible for developing community outreach strategy, creating new program models, monitoring program evaluation, and leading collaboration with the City of Toronto, community partners and funders. In addition to their work in the arts, Barbara is also a dance instructor and has created the ThrowDown Dance Convention - a platform that celebrates the power and diversity of creative movement through masterclass workshops, panel discussions, and a community dance competition & showcase hosted at the Toronto Centre for the Arts.

Barbara Hall attended Harris Institute, where they studied arts management.
