Isabel Lu is a multifaceted professional with a strong background in public health, nutrition, and art. Currently serving as a Studio Artist and Emerging Artist in Residence at ArtspaceNC, as well as a Committee on Racial Equity Fellow at the Center for Environmental Farming Systems, Isabel has extensive experience in various roles including Public Communications Specialist at the UNC Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. Responsibilities have encompassed promoting research accomplishments, supervising graduate research projects, and leading qualitative research initiatives at NYU Langone Health. Prior experience includes roles as a Sustainability Content Creator at the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and multiple research assistant positions at Cornell University, contributing to significant studies on nutrition, food sovereignty, and community health. Isabel holds a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Sciences from Cornell University.

Artspace
Artspace is a non-profit visual arts center located in Downtown Raleigh. Visit Artspace for our exhibitions featuring national and community artists, our more than 30 artists working in their studios, our artists in residence, and for our art classes for all ages and abilities. We are a space for creativity and social practice composed of artist residencies, exhibitions, arts education, and community outreach.
