Sarah West

Studio Artist at Artspace

Sarah West is an experienced jewelry instructor and studio artist with a diverse background in the arts. Currently teaching at Pullen Arts Center since 2012, Sarah specializes in various jewelry-making techniques, including fabrication and enameling, while also contributing to the administrative side of the center. At Artspace, Sarah creates both traditional and conceptual jewelry, alongside sculptures and custom pieces. Previous roles include installation artist for corporate spaces at Indiewalls and assistant bench jeweler at The Jewelry Doctor, where Sarah honed repair and client interaction skills. Sarah's educational background includes a BFA in metal design from East Carolina University and advanced studies in library and information science, reinforcing a commitment to both craftsmanship and education in the arts.
