Deborah Scates

Deborah Scates has a diverse range of work experience in marketing and communications roles. Deborah began their career as the Manager of Marketing & Media Relations at Westchester Arts Council, where they developed marketing programs and built strategic partnerships among arts organizations. Deborah then worked at Simon Property Group as the Director of Marketing, where they managed all aspects of marketing for The Westchester shopping center. Next, Scates joined APOGEE Wellness as the Director of Marketing & Brand Development, where they developed overall marketing strategies and launched the company's wellness brands. Deborah then worked as a Marketing & Business Development Specialist at DScates Consulting before joining ArtsWestchester as the Director of Partnership Marketing and later as the Director of Marketing & Communications. In these roles, they were responsible for developing marketing strategies and programs, managing branding and communications efforts, and maximizing public relations. Scates has a proven ability to build brands and maximize business growth.

Deborah Scates attended Amherst College from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts & English.
