Eva Schilken

Eva Schilken has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Eva is currently the Engineering Manager at Artsy, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Entrepreneur in Residence at Beam from March 2021 to January 2022. During their time at Beam, Eva was responsible for product research and development, defining product strategy, creating a product roadmap, and managing stakeholders and business development.

Before joining Beam, Eva was a Co-Founder at Circleback, where they played a key role in product research and development, defining product strategy, and overseeing stakeholder management and initial business development from March 2021 to January 2022.

From October 2019 to October 2020, Eva worked as the CTO at Plan A GmbH. Their responsibilities included leading the technical aspects of the company and ensuring the successful execution of projects.

Prior to that, Eva worked as a Freelance Web Developer, specializing in integrating various APIs into the Salesforce Commerce Cloud shop system. Eva also acted as a Technical Lead, guiding clients through projects and making architectural decisions. During their time as a Freelance Web Developer (February 2018 to October 2019), Eva handled tasks such as creating user stories, managing workload for engineers, sprint planning and execution, QA and code reviews, and developing and shipping API integrations.

Earlier in their career, Eva served as a Softwareentwickler (Software Developer) at STRICTmobile GmbH from November 2012 to August 2017.

Eva Schilken completed their Bachelor of Science in Medieninformatik from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen from 2009 to 2012. In addition, they obtained certifications such as Climathon Germany from Climate-KIC in November 2020, Climathon Participant from Climate-KIC in October 2019, and Salesforce Certified Commerce Cloud Digital Developer from Salesforce.com Germany GmbH in February 2018.
