Liang Lu

Liang Lu has extensive work experience in the field of speech science and research. They currently hold the position of Staff Speech Scientist at Otter.ai since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Applied Scientist at Microsoft from September 2017 to September 2021. They also served as a Research Assistant Professor at the Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago from September 2016 to August 2017. Before that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Edinburgh from September 2012 to July 2016. Liang Lu began their career as a Research Intern at Toshiba in June 2011 and also gained research experience as an intern at Orange from 2006 to 2009.

Liang Lu obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science from The University of Edinburgh. This educational journey began in 2009 and concluded in 2013.
