Indraka Fadhlillah

Co-Founder & COO at Aruna

Indraka Fadhlillah is the Co-Founder and COO of Aruna, a social enterprise with a mission to make the sea a better livelihood for all by empowering local fishermen through a platform that facilitates fair trade with their customers. Aruna is currently operational in all over Indonesia, from Sumatra to Papua, with more than 5,000 activated fisherman partners.

Prior to Aruna, Indraka was the recipient of the BEKAL Pemimpin Scholarship Award from the United In Diversity Foundation. The Bekal Pemimpin program is a multi sector leadership program which engaged NGO executives, corporate executives, government officials, academics, entrepreneurs as well as community leaders with the aim of fostering a network of young leaders in the field of environmental science who are able to drive social transformation towards the management of natural resources that is fair, sustainable, and done with local wisdom. As part of the program, Indraka worked on a prototype project on Selayar Island in South Sulawesi focused on sustainable, fair, and local wisdom fisheries management.

Indraka has also served as Vice Chairman Maritime Affairs & Fisheries of Optimization and Synchronization Team "Jabar Juara" for the Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat (Government of West Java Province) and as a ULD Management Specialist for PT Garuda Indonesia SBU Cargo.

Indraka Fadhlillah attended Telkom University, where they earned a Bachelor of Management in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management. Indraka then went on to attend The London School of Economics and Political Science, where they completed a Negotiation Program.
