Amy Doherty, CPA

Amy Doherty, CPA has extensive experience in the accounting field. Amy has been in the industry since 2000, starting as a Senior Administrative Officer at NC State Employees' Credit Union. Amy then moved to PwC in 2007 as an Associate, and then to Koonce, Wooten & Haywood, LLP as a Senior Associate. In 2014, they became an Assistant Controller at Implus, and then in 2018 moved to Metabolon, Inc. as a Corporate Controller. Amy is currently working as a Corporate Controller at Aruna Bio, Inc.

Amy Doherty, CPA has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Management and Society from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill which they obtained between 1997 and 2000. Amy then obtained a Master's Degree in Accounting from Gardner-Webb University between 2005 and 2007 and a Master's Degree in Trust and Investment Management from Campbell University between 2005 and 2006. In 2008, they obtained a Certified Public Accountant certification from the NC State Board of Accountancy. In 2005, they obtained a Certified Financial Planner certification. Amy also holds a Notary Public certification.
