Ilana Judah is a seasoned professional in resilience and sustainability, currently serving as the Americas Adaptation and Resilience Leader and Associate Principal at Arup since April 2022. Prior to this role, Judah founded and led ACORN Resilience & Sustainability, a consulting firm focused on the urban built environment, and contributed significant research on climate adaptation at the UBC Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability. Judah's extensive experience includes serving as Principal and Director of Sustainability at FXCollaborative, where strategic sustainability initiatives were developed and managed across various projects. An educator as well, Judah has held positions as an Adjunct Professor and Visiting Instructor at prestigious universities. With advanced degrees in Resources, Environment, and Sustainability from the University of British Columbia, and Architecture from McGill University, Judah combines academic expertise with practical application in sustainability and resilience across multiple sectors.
