Juan Felipe Herrera

Juan Felipe Herrera is a highly experienced Senior Architect and Urban Designer at Arup since May 2016, with a strong focus on sustainable design. As a Project Architect in a personal practice since June 2014, Herrera has led the design and construction supervision of significant projects, including a 13,500 sqm public space for the Makaira development condominium. Herrera's previous roles include Architect and Urban Designer at PLP Architecture, Project Architect at TAB - Taller de Arquitectura de Bogotá, and Architectural Assistant at Daniel Bonilla - Architects & Urbanism. An educator at LCI - Lasalle College International from 2010 to 2014, Herrera taught design and sustainability courses. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and an MSc in Urban Design & City Planning from UCL.
