Noel Matthews

Noel Matthews is a seasoned planning professional with extensive experience in urban and regional planning. Currently serving as Technical Lead - Planning at Arup since February 2020, Noel previously held the position of Director Planning at AECOM from October 2008 to February 2020, focusing on statutory and strategic planning, development facilitation, and consultation strategies. Earlier roles include Manager Urban Planning at Connell Wagner, Manager Strategic Planning at the City of Boroondara, and Senior Planner positions at Tract Consultants and the City of South Melbourne. Noel holds a Grad Dip in Urban and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Planning from RMIT University, along with further education from Melbourne Business School.
