Tateo Nakajima is an Arup Fellow and the UKIMEA Region Portfolio Leader for Technical Specialist Services, leading a creative team focused on designing exceptional arts facilities. Currently a member of the UK Government Expert Advisory Panel for UK City of Culture 2025 and the Programme Board of Convergent Screen Technologies and Performance in Realtime (CoSTAR), Tateo brings extensive experience in acoustics and theatre design. Previously, they served as a juror for the ABB LEAF Awards and held various roles at Artec Consultants Inc, contributing to the design and planning of performing arts venues globally. Tateo’s education includes advanced studies in conducting and violin performance from prestigious institutions.
