Xavier Zhou Xu

Xavier Zhou Xu is a seasoned sustainability professional with extensive experience in energy modeling, green building design, and decarbonization strategies. Currently serving as a Senior Sustainability Consultant at Arup since April 2019, Xavier specializes in environmental sustainability design (ESD) consultancy and net zero building design. Previous roles include Senior Sustainability Engineer and ESD Consultant at Aurecon, where skills in energy modeling and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) were honed, as well as ESD Consultant at GreenA Consultants, focusing on green building certifications such as Green Mark and LEED. Earlier, Xavier contributed as Executive Manager at the Building and Construction Authority, overseeing energy management for the BCA Zero Energy Building. Educational credentials include a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering from the National University of Singapore, along with a Diplôme D'Ingénieur Civil from Mines Paris - PSL.
